Some days it feels like I can’t do anything

Other days I can do everything

I’m in between, I don’t belong

I’m not quite right, but not quite wrong

I always thought I was resilient, 

I’d never give up

But there’ve been days I'm just so tired 

Of the sound of my own thoughts

Some days when I fall and I can’t seem to get up at all

Days when all my effort feels in vain and I want to give in

But there’s always other days

Have you ever felt like your life was going in circles 

You just wanted to get off the roller coaster 

Have you ever felt worn out by your own effort? 

It’s something I’ve been afraid of saying

Like admitting it means I’m less of a person

It feels like surrender

I start to wonder

If everything about me is a lie

If it's actually true that I try

There are some days

Days when all my effort feels in vain and I want to give in

Some days I look in the mirror and remember

I'm only human, I'm a person, 

I am broken, and unbroken

I am grieving and healing, and I’ll never stop growin’ 

And 

its ok 

to admit
